Dean W. Erickson, M.D., M.P.H., President and Director of Occupational Medicine, is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Health with specialization in Occupational Medicine. Dr. Erickson has certification as a Medical Review Officer and serves as a Disability Examiner for the State of Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation. He is also a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner. Dr. Erickson is a graduate of Bethel College and the University of Minnesota School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He also received a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine at the University of Minnesota Affiliated Hospitals. Dr. Erickson is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, the American College of Physician Executives and the Western Reserve Medical Director Association. Dr. Erickson lives in the Akron area. He enjoys golf, but can most often be seen running in his spare time.
