ATTEND SAFETY TRAINING

BWC’s occupational safety, health and ergonomics classes promote safer, healthier workplaces for Ohio’s workers. This helps Ohio employers reduce costs.

How do these classes add value to your premium dollars?
BWC allocates 1 percent of all premium dollars to developing and presenting safety and health services for Ohio workers and employers. When you attend training classes and use other services provided by BWC’s Division of Safety & Hygiene, you maximize the value for your workers’ compensation premium.

Who should attend classes?
Front-line staff, business owners, managers/supervisors, safety team members, safety directors and those interested in promoting health and safety in the workplace.

What’s the cost for attending?
Classes are available at no additional cost to each Ohio employer with an active BWC policy.

Where are classes held?
This winter, BWC offers 53 classes at 11 locations throughout the state. And with four online courses, you don’t have to leave your office. Access them from your desktop!
